DeMOS | The game goes to Leipzig!

Urbandig project tried out the outcomes of an extensive, but very creative process:

A performative game that intends to make collective reflecting and decision making, much more fun and effective!

Point of departure was Labour Game jam, while Art Games Game Jam followed - both organised by Goethe Institute Athens. We continued with several months of work and our first playtesting in a closed circle - and now it was about time to open up!

Next station? Leipzig!

Katerina Protonotariou and Interaction Leipzig tried "DeMOS_the game" for the first time openly - supported by START - Create Cultural Change*.

In October 2018, the 3rd playtesting of the developed version of the game was successfully organized, adressing participants from Germany, Syria and Greece. Game master was Odysseas Velentzas.

Designed in a way that adapts every city, while prioritizing the notion of "dweller", "DeMOS_the game" intends to create the conditions under which diverse groups may find an easier path towards consensus.
