The big idea behind UrbanDig Project is to tackle the need for art, while suggesting that art is not a sterilised process but an ongoing, continuously unfinished “reporting from the front” of the (un-)measurable, the (in-)visible, the (un-)real. The goal is to use site-specific content as inspiration for performative art (theatre, performance, dance, live art), suggesting a bottom-up alternative to urban cultural capital management.
