Collective community actions enable UrbanDig Project to revisit a neighbourhood and re-engage with its actors. During round tables and open discussions, UrbanDig Project brings together people from the community with “visitors” of various expertise, facilitates their communication and exchange of knowledge, whilst engaging them in playful and fun situations. Although public festivals or concerts are artistic interventions in public space, they are considered as community actions as long as they are organised in cooperation with the locals, mainly using the local cultural wealth (e.g. musicians, artists). The goal is to design projects with high social impact, while encouraging sustainable and renewable structures and networks among the multiple actors.
